Emily Procter

 


Emily Mallory Procter (born October 8th, 1968) is an American activist and actress. She was Ainsley Hayes, a character in The West Wing's political dramas (2000-2002, 2006; and 2006). Calleigh Duquesne in CBS's police procedural drama CSI: Miami 2002-2012



 



 Childhood and early life



 Procter was born on October 8 1988. She was adopted as a child by William Procter, a general practitioner and Barbara Jones, a volunteer worker. She was raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. When her parents divorced she was just three years old. Whit her older brother, is adopted.



 



 Ravenscroft School, Raleigh was Procter's school. While she was at East Carolina University, she became a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and worked as a television weather anchor on WNCT TV in Greenville, North Carolina, later graduating with degrees in journalism and dance.
